The Cyclonic 2®
Combination Ball & Check Valve

The CYCLONIC 2® Combination Ball and Check Valve combines a rugged, top-entry ball valve with a unique top-entry upstream check valve in a compact, in-line serviceable unibody design. This valve is designed for tough applications requiring a check and a shut-off valve where reverse flow is not desired. The CYCLONIC 2® saves space and reduces both installation costs and fugitive emission points compared to conventional ball valve and check valve installations. Line drainage is quickly facilitated through the standard 1/2" drain port strategically located between the ball and disc. This valve has 316 stainless steel trim, RTFE seats and Viton® seals as standard. Whether your applications require steel, stainless steel or aluminum bronze valves, our CYCLONIC 2® 1480 psi valves will meet your every requirement.

  • Body and Bonnet: WCB Steel, CF8M Stainless Steel, 9D Aluminum Bronze or Special Alloys.
  • Seats: Carbon-filled Teflon®, Delrin®, or special application materials.
  • Trim: Ball, stem, check disc, check seat, and adjustable stem gland nut ar all 316 Stainless Steel.
  • Body Seals: Viton® (standard) or Viton® shielded Graphoil®.
  • Ends/Length: Our 2" NPT is only 7 3/4" long. Butt-weld, socket-weld, and flanged ends available.
  • Test Standards: Complete testing to ANSI B16.34 or API 598 requirements.

  • Stem bushing in packing nut reduces side thrust.
  • Live-loaded thrust washer prevents galling and provides a secondary stem seal.
  • Valves comply with NACE MR0175 for sour gas service (Class III bolting).
  • Locking safety clip handle standard.
  • Stem grounded against body.

Design: CYCLONIC 2® valves are designed with wall thickness and bonnet bolt loading exceeding ANSI B16.34 requirements. Our standard valves comply with NACE MRO175, class 3, standards. The unique one-piece body eliminates the hazards of end seal and retainer failures.
